Maxwell Boadu Acosty added his name on the score sheet as Rijeka thump Inter Zapresic 3-0 in the Croatian top flight league on Sunday.
Rijeka, who are enjoying a fine run in the final embers of the league campaign, continued from where they left off last in their 4-1 win against Dinamo Zagreb with another big victory at the Stadion ŠRC Zaprešić on Sunday.
They were put ahead with only 11 minutes on the clock courtesy Croatian midfielder Domagoj Pavicic before Araujo Heber added their second of the afternoon a minute later.
With the win already in the bag, former Crotone forward Boadu Acosty scored for Rijeka in the 65th minute as they run away 3-0 victors. The strike was his 3rd of the campaign in as many games.
He was taken off just a minute after hitting the back of the net while compatriot Obeng Reagan was introduced in the 57th minute for the losers.
Rijeka are nine points adrift of Dinamo Zagreb with 47 points after 25 games.
