    As most of the private schools in LA in the Zone 3 are celebrating the GNAPS(GHANA NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS) week ; that is a week for most of the private schools to celebrate and to engage in so many activities like seminars, indoor games,clean up exercise, funfair etc. Most of the schools in Zone 3 in LA are are Gaku, Namic, Convenant Royal,Emmanuel Goodnews,Justice Nii Amarh Ollenu school, Duke,Liberty, New Creation, Rekums, Roch Nursery, Bethel Hill, Legend sight and sound school and New life school. etc. Radio Latenu visited one of the schools God Almighty King Universal (Gaku) Basic school. Gaku on Monday launched the GNAPS WEEK where the headmaster of the school Mr Addo Ankamafio explained to the pupils what GNAPS means and the importance of every private school to be part of this asoociation. Mr Obodai the science teacher also delivered a speech on “The Importance Of Education”. The school organized a quiz competition for the lower,upper and jhs department between the boys and the girls. At the end,the girls were emerged as winners by their points 165 against the boys 164. Most of the private schools also engaged in most of the activities.

         On the 7th of March all the private schools in  La will gather and entertain their pupils at the Efua Sutherland Children’s park. This is to end the celebration of GNAPS WEEK activities. There will be so many activities there to entertain  the children like horse riding, dancing competition,rap competition etc.So parents are to allow their wards to take part in this events as its another way of knowing and socializing with other school.
