Organizers of the La Music Awards have officially released  the various categories for the maiden edition of the La Music Awards 2017.
Nominations for the award was opened on saturday, July 8th, 2017. Nominees for the categories will be selected by a panel of music industry professionals as well as by popular public voting.
Entry forms for potential applicant(s) was also released on the day of launching.
Demo version songs will NOT be accepted, the board have advised. Songs and music videos with openly explicit content or vulgar language will not be accepted as well.
There will be special awards which will be awarded without nominations on awards night. These Lifetime Achievement Awards will be a special merit award presented to LEGENDS who  have made creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the community during their musical careers.
A statement from the organizers said: Artistes and artistes managers are advised to pick up the forms from Radio Latenu office in La.
All completed entries should be submitted to the offices of Radio Latenu, the organizers added.
