Bad officiating led to our defeat: La United

Team Chairman for La United Dormon Nii Adjei, has alleged that bad officiating contributed immensely to their defeat against Sakora Fc in the middle league encounter at the Nungua Town park.

The team Manager for the division 3 side said this in an exclusive interview on Latenu 96.1 afternoon sports show “AFCON diaries”.

Nii Adjei added that before the match, he was notified that the referees to officiate the game were coming from Nungua and Osu respectively but to the his surprise on the team sheet on match day the centre referee is from Teshie the same town as their opponent.

According to Dormon, some decisions made by the centre referee Aron Bediako with his two assistants Raymond Quainoo (assistant line 1) and Seth Ashai (line 2) when the match was in progress can not be comprehended and that they (La United) have written to the Greater Accra Referees Committee to look into the matter.

The bank roller of La united also alleged that, Sakora Fc featured two unregistered players and that is against the game of football, so they (la united) have therefore written the Regional Football Association (RFA) to deal with this matter.

La united were defeated by Sakora Fc 2-1 at the Nungua town park on Saturday. By the virtue of this, Sakora Fc have qualified to Division 2.
